What You Will Achieve

You will be a member of Pfizer’s dedicated and highly effective quality assurance and control team. You will serve as a primary contact for managing product defect complaints. You will address and expedite product complaints in accordance with the company's complaint policy while ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies. Based on the feedback received, you will be relied on to suggest modifications to the existing manufacturing and packaging processes. You will maintain unified product defect investigation operating procedures and provide technical expertise to optimize the complaint processing systems. Your proactive problem-solving approach will ensure that all complaints are investigated and handled as per company policy.

You will also serve as a primary contact for supporting batch release disposition activities for the allocated market/markets supported by the Hub, in accordance with GMP/GDP requirements.

The key role of the SCMOQ Specialist is to establish and maintain an appropriate and sustainable Quality Management System and Quality Culture within Pfizer Romania in order to ensure compliance with Pfizer and Regulatory Authority expectations.

This position reports directly to the SCMOQ Hub Manager Pfizer Romania. The key stakeholders of this position include the departments Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs and Drug Safety Unit.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Maintain the quality systems and culture and aim for continuous improvement
  • Ensure correct prioritization, categorization and timely reporting of product quality complaints and escalating issues accordingly participate in the GMP/GDP inspections carried out by the competent authority
  • Establish and maintain an appropriate and sustainable Product Quality System and Quality Culture within Pfizer related to GMP/GDP activities, so that compliance with Pfizer and Regulatory authority expectations and protection of Pfizer patients/customers from any product quality risk is ensured.
  • Collect data and quality metrics to allow quality performance assessment

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • University degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Biology, etc)
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical field is an asset
  • Previous responsibilities in quality assurance field are preferred
  • Excellent stakeholder and people management skills
  • Ability to build fruitful interpersonal relationships based on trust and empathy  
  • Strong negotiation and effective communication skills
  • “Can do”-attitude with a passion for innovation
  • Fluency (written and verbal) in English, additional language knowledge is an asset
