The Department of Mathematics, Actuarial Science, & Statistics at the University of Central Missouri (UCM) invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position in Mathematics to begin in August 2024. Applicants with a Ph.D. in Mathematics with a specialty in discrete mathematics will be preferred. ABD may be considered.

Position Purpose
The primary responsibilities of the position are to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics; conduct in scholarly research/activities that lead toward peer-reviewed publications; and assist with department and university committee work and service activities and advising students. The typical teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. A reduced teaching load for research and other professional responsibilities is possible.
