Job Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION:The Division of Mathematics at Texas Woman’s University is seeking candidates to teach undergraduate, graduate, and special topics courses in mathematics. An earned doctorate in mathematics, statistics, or closely related field is required. The Division of Mathematics in the School of the Sciences contributes significantly to the mission of the University through scholarly endeavors, engagement of students, and outreach to the community and profession. The Division of Mathematics currently offers an undergraduate degree in mathematics (with or without a teaching certificate). The Division also offers a Master of Science in Mathematics. This position starts in the fall of 2026.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
A commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels is essential. Responsibilities will focus on teaching undergraduate and graduate mathematics courses. A commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels is essential. Demonstrated experience with the use of technology in instruction is expected. Service to professional organizations is expected as is service to the university including participation in department, college, and university committees.
