Job Description
Summary
The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Research, is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) to join its growing research enterprise. The successful candidate will hold a primary appointment within the Division of Research and a secondary appointment in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition.
This position offers a collaborative academic environment with strong institutional support for independent and translational research.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an independent, externally funded research program
- Conduct high-impact research aligned with departmental and institutional priorities
- Collaborate with clinical and research faculty across multiple divisions
- Contribute to teaching and mentoring of trainees, fellows, and junior faculty
- Participate in service activities consistent with faculty rank and expertise
Qualifications
- PhD, MD, or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field
- Demonstrated research productivity and potential for independent funding
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and mentorship
