Job Description
Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesFamiliarity with current ethical principles, practices and standards of care for providing psychological services; working knowledge of State of Alaska mental health and child/elder abuse statutes; mastery of counseling theory and techniques, consultation skills, crisis intervention theory and techniques; training in development and effective presentation of outreach and prevention programs.
Knowledge of local, state and federal statutes and regulations as they apply to disability services, including but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Position Details:
This position is located on the UAS campus in Juneau, AK. This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 80, based on education and experience.
