The School of Art at Ball State University invites applications for part-time instructors to teach courses in Animation.Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the
U.S. without employer sponsorship.
What you'll do and what you'll bring:
The School of Art at Ball State University invites applications for part-time instructors to teach a variety of courses in Animation, including Drawing for Animators, 2D Animation, 3D Animation, Character Design, Game Engine, Experimental Animation, Compositing and Motion Graphics, Dynamic Effects, Visual Effects Animation, and/or CG Lighting for Visual Effects. Successful candidates may be hired to teach between one and three sections and we offer both online and in-person modalities. Course development support and pedagogical mentoring will be offered.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in animation, illustration, game design, visual effects, or a related field from an accredited institution OR two years of documented industry experience in animation, illustration, game design, visual effects, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of teaching experience at the college level
