Summary
The Children's Nutritional Research Center (CRNC) is seeking a Coordinator, Business Operations who will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the CNRC Director. The Coordinator, Business Operations serves as a key point of coordination for the Director’s activities, including complex calendar management, scheduling and hosting Microsoft Teams meetings, and managing communications related to the Obesity and Energetics Offerings newsletter. He or She will Facilitate and organize group meetings on behalf of the Director, ensuring seamless execution and follow-up. Plays a vital role in supporting the Center’s strategic and day-to-day operations.
This position is onsite and located in Houston, TX in the Texas Medical Center.
Job Duties
- Greets and escorts guests coming to the CNRC to meet with the Center Director.
- Provides telephone coverage for the Center Director's telephone lines.
- Emails telephone messages to the Center Director.
- Serves as primary calendar scheduler for the Center Director for internal and external meetings.
- Maintains the CNRC multiple conference room schedules and is the point of contact for scheduling all CNRC meeting rooms.
- Provides newsletter support for Obesity and Energetics Offerings.
- Replies to emails sent to the site.
- Serves as TEAMS meetings scheduler for the Center Director.
- Facilitates external to BCM requested Zoom meetings on calendar.
- Enters all Center Director travel on calendar.
- Processes travel in Concur for reimbursements.
- Assists with other Center Director clerical and data requests as needed.
- Order supplies and catering for the Center Director's meetings and admin group in Jaggaer.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Higher education experience preferred.
- Experience using LinkedIN.
