Job Description
Job Summary:Exsera BioLabs is seeking a Research Analyst to develop high-impact scientific content that showcases the innovation and value of our laboratory and clinical research services. In this cross-functional role, you will collaborate closely with scientists and technical experts to translate complex research into clear, engaging communications tailored to academic, clinical, and industry audiences.
As a key member of our strategic communications team, you will be responsible for creating scientific publications, digital content, internal reports, and data-driven narratives that elevate our visibility and credibility in the research and healthcare communities. This position offers the flexibility to work onsite or remotely, with opportunities to shape the voice and communications of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, edit, and manage the submission of scientific manuscripts and conference abstracts in collaboration with R&D scientists.
Prepare, review, and edit bioanalytical reports supporting clinical trials and studies.
Assist with chart reviews and prepare documentation to support IRB applications and sample reserve efforts.
Develop and curate scientific content for social media channels to highlight laboratory innovations and research outcomes.
Create scientific posters, presentations, and materials for conferences, client meetings, and internal use.
Produce educational resources for clinicians and clients to be used across digital platforms.
Work Location:
Remote – this role is eligible to work remotely, but the employee must be in the United States.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Entry Level:
A bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pathology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
Intermediate Level:
A bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pathology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. One (1) year of professional level experience with clinical diagnostics or laboratory medicine.
Senior Level:
Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pathology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
Two (2) years of professional level experience with clinical diagnostics or laboratory medicine.
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pathology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
Prior experiences in IRB submissions, clinical studies, or working in a regulated laboratory or CRO environment.
Publication record in peer-reviewed journals and/or experience preparing scientific conference materials.
Experience with laboratory testing workflows and translational research.
Experience with writing and editing journal articles and abstracts for scientific publications.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with researchers, lab staff, and other departments at all levels throughout the institution.
Strong scientific writing skills; able to write clearly and accurately about research for different audiences.
Understanding of key concepts in biomedical and clinical research.
Ability to explain complex ideas in a simple, engaging way.
Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines reliably.
Familiarity with scientific and medical terms and comfortable using research and regulatory language.
