College/Department Information
The purpose of the Audit, Compliance, Ethics, and Risk Management Department is to:
Identify and prioritize risks (positive and negative) to the organization and its mission and share risk-related data and information with the organization to inform tactical and strategic planning (ERM). Detect violations of law, regulation, and policy, and ensure the organization takes steps to correct such violations and implements controls reasonably designed to prevent recurring violations on a sustained basis (Compliance & Ethics, and Privacy). Periodically audit and test controls and processes to measure and report on sustained adherence to prescribed rules (Internal Audit). Promote the safety and well-being of students, Patients, faculty, staff, guests, and other constituents throughout the enterprise and its facilities (EH&S).
Job Summary
The Compliance Analyst assists with enterprise-wide compliance regarding all external and internal laws, rules, regulations and policies, as well as assists in the production of an enterprise-wide annual compliance report. Assist in the establishment and deployment of an enterprise-wide compliance/risk management strategy, as well as a plan that will provide coordination, guidance, and training to ensure compliance with this strategy.
Responsibilities

STEERING COMMITTEE MEETINGS: Scheduling, verifying agenda items and communicating with members of the committee.
COMMITTEE MEETINGS: Attend meetings as directed.
INVESTIGATION CORRESPONDENCE: Produce correspondence that indicates findings from investigations.
COMPLIANCE & INVESTIGATIONS: Compliance investigations, which require reading compliance case reports and assessing the information provided. Investigations will require conducting interviews with involved parties, reviewing records, and producing reports of findings.
REPORTS: Produce data reports to submit to hospital board to show compliance activity. Present data reports to the committee, boards and other work groups. Produce investigation reports.
TRAINING & PUBLIIC SPEAKING: Annual Compliance Training for organization, specific training for departments based on need. Public speaking regarding status updates to open forum management needs, etc.
: Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with at least one year of experience in compliance review and analysis, data analytics, evaluation and testing controls, performing investigative interviews, and fact-finding interviews.
Preferred Qualifications
A highly qualified applicant will have at least 5 years of experience in areas related to hospital compliance, research compliance, or higher education compliance. They will be experienced In Investigating highly sensitive subject matter. They must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days/M-F (Work outside of the regular business hours may be required)
Pay Band: B11
Salary: $56,600/annually - $59,280/annually
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
