The Department of Nursing at the University of South Dakota (USD) is seeking applications for a 9 months full-time clinical nursing faculty member at the Vermillion campus. The faculty member will be responsible for providing clinical instruction predominantly in the simulation and lab setting for pre-licensure students.

Responsibilities:
Clinical teaching in lab and simulation.
Evaluation of student learning.
Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Contribution to departmental service activities.

Required Qualifications:
Current unencumbered nursing license and eligible for licensure in South Dakota.
Minimum of a master’s degree in nursing from a nationally accredited program.

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong nursing background with experience in medical-surgical nursing.
Experience teaching in a baccalaureate or higher degree program.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with technology.
