Under direct supervision of the Director, Clinical Research and/or Research Manager, the incumbent is responsible for supporting clinical trials at the top of their nursing license scope, for existing and novel oncology therapies while working in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate:

  • Must be able to work ONSITE Monday - Friday, 1st/Days.

  • Support clinical trials for existing and novel oncology therapies.

  • Work under the direct supervision of the Director, Clinical Research and/or Research Manager.

  • Coordinate therapeutic clinical trials from First in Human and Phase I-Phase III, including Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs).

  • Place protocol-related orders in the EMR and collect biospecimens as required by study protocols.

  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, institutional guidance documents, and SOPs.

  • Collaborate with Investigators for subject recruitment and pre-screening.

  • Develop strategies for identifying potentially eligible patients for each study.

  • Present trial concepts to research subjects and participate in the informed consent process.

  • Enroll and coordinate care of subjects in compliance with protocol requirements.

  • Provide teaching on investigational agents/devices to research subjects.

  • Monitor subjects for changes in condition, adverse events, and protocol compliance.

  • Accurately and timely collect, document, and report data.

  • Participate in off-site investigator meetings, site visits, and auditing activities as delegated.

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • Current Georgia RN license from an accredited college

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing

  • Prior clinical research, Nursing, or relevant clinical experience

  • Preferred experience: Minimum 2+ Years of research experience OR, Minimum 2+ Years of Oncology experience OR, Phase 1 Clinical trial experience

City of Hope employees pay is based on the following criteria: work experience, qualifications, and work location.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $32.85 - $54.12 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
