Job Description
Ball State University's Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology and Forensic Science program is accepting applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position beginning on August 11, 2025 and to populate our annual adjunct faculty pool for anticipated future use. All areas of specialization—i.e., policing, courts and corrections—are encouraged to apply.
The Forensic Science Program at Ball State University invites applications for adjunct positions beginning August 2025 and January 2026.
Job Function:
Ball State University's Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology and Forensic Science program is accepting applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position beginning on August 11, 2025 and to populate our annual adjunct faculty pool for anticipated future use. All areas of specialization—i.e., policing, courts and corrections—are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Experience:
- Juris doctorate or a master's degree (a bachelor's degree combined with at least 7 years of professional experience will be accepted in lieu of the JD or master's degree.)
- The degree must be in criminal justice, criminology, forensic science, or related field from an accredited college or university.
- The Professional experience must be in the criminal justice, legal, or related field.
Preferred Experience:
Teaching experience at a college or university and experience using Canvas as a course management system.
