The LIMS Product Owner/ Systems Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements, configuring,and customizing TGen's Sapio LIMS environment to meet both business and regulatory needs. This rolerequires a skilled professional with clinical or healthcare systems expertise, a deep understanding oflaboratory workflows, system integrations, and the customization capabilities of the Sapio LIMSecosystem.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a Product Owner capacity, serving as a bridge between laboratory usersand Sapio and/or third-party vendor support partners. They will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolveissues while staying up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements.
- Product Manager/Owner: Collaborate with laboratory, administrative, and IT staff to understand business needs and requirements
- Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for the implementation and enhancement of TGen’s Sapio LIMS ecosystem
- Configurations: Manage user access, configure system settings, and create/manage workflows, forms, instrument integrations, reports, and dashboards based on business requirements and a thorough understanding of the LIMS product
- Customizations: Assess the need for customizations based on business requirements and implement solutions using programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, or similar individually OR by collaborating with Sapio or third-party vendors to deliver advanced customization requests when necessary
- Support: Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to ensure smooth operations
- Integration & Data Management: Partner with IT teams to integrate Sapio LIMS with other laboratory software products, such as physician portals, reporting engines, and CRM systems
- QA and Compliance: Conduct quality assurance testing within the LIMS ecosystem and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including 21 CFR Part 11, FDA and GxP requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation
- Training: Deliver training and guidance to end users, creating comprehensive user manuals, instructional videos, and other materials to enhance user adoption and proficiency
- Testing and Upgrades: Plan and coordinate testing, system changes, upgrades, and the implementation of new services to ensure compatibility and reliability in current and future environments
- Test Plan Execution: Design and execute test plans to validate the logic and functionality of new or modified programs
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Perform daily monitoring and maintenance activities to ensure optimal system performance and availability
