In consultation with key stakeholders, identify areas of improvement and develop and implement solutions. Support the day-to-day technology and operations of the HCM, Payroll, and Benefits modules in Workday (HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, etc.). Write and maintain a variety of reports or queries utilizing Workday, Excel, Tableau and other data analytical tools.

Job Function:
Reporting to the Sr Executive Director, the Senior HRIS Analyst will be responsible for managing and supporting the Human Resources functionality within Workday. In consultation with key stakeholders, identify areas of improvement and develop and implement solutions. Support the day-to-day technology and operations of the HCM, Payroll, and Benefits modules in Workday (HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, etc.). Write and maintain a variety of reports or queries utilizing Workday, Excel, Tableau and other data analytical tools.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education such as an Associate’s degree and two years of additional experience or four years of additional related experience.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
At least five years of related experience to include system configuration, reporting, and data analysis.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with Workday HCM to include developing reports, system configuration, and data analysis. Project management experience. Experience working in a higher education environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to recommend, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom Workday reports and dashboards for meaningful metrics, trends, and analytical insights.
- Participate in technology initiatives by gathering business requirements, conducting business process reviews, configuring, testing and deploying requested and required changes. Conduct projects such as mass system updates, business process improvement, and employee records management.
- Coordinate deployment of application changes to production environment following established change management protocols and/or Workday Release updates. Develop test plans, coordinate and execute system testing.
- Provide analysis of impacts to reporting based on new releases or updates to system functionality and recommend/apply changes in addition to reporting and dashboard related testing for each release.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday HCM inquiries, providing support and training to People and Culture team members and end-users on Workday functionalities and best practices.
- Maintain documentation of existing processes and procedures to facilitate ongoing upkeep, continuous improvement, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct complex audits and performs specialized reconciliations to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance, on a regular basis.
- Lead Workday HCM operational support related to business process configuration, mass system updates, process improvement, and auditing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
