Supervising all aspects of the Evaluation and Treatment Center. Collaborates regularly with Leadership in the development and implementation of administrative and operational activities of the ETC. Assists with development and execution of goals such that they support the organizational mission and strategic plan of COH Atlanta. Responsible for collaborating and communicating with patients, management team, center stakeholders, medical staff, and hospital staff to enhance the quality and efficiency of health care delivery. Serve as a point of contact for the development of ETC symptom management throughout the continuum of care, promoting best practices and quality of life. Ensures that ETC provides clinical coordination of care and services for all patients while supporting the mission of COH by treating patients as a whole person in a compassionate and caring environment. Ensures adherence to all state and federal regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate:

  • Guidance & Support: Assist and guide RNs, LPNs, MAs, PCTs, and other stakeholders in ETC. Designate preceptors for new staff and coordinate departmental orientation.

  • Role Model: Serve as a department role model, developing and maintaining internal and external customer relationships.

  • Hiring & Coaching: Contribute to the hiring process and effectively coach team members, recognizing and supporting their strengths and talents.

  • Education & Development: Assist with continuing education, effective delegation, and ongoing growth and development of ETC staff. Maintain Competency Notebooks.

  • Scheduling & Monitoring: Schedule and monitor assignments, provide direct patient care during absences or high patient volumes, and adjust schedules as needed.

  • Daily Operations: Monitor daily clinic operations, ensure appropriate staffing, and demonstrate COH values and standards.

  • Patient & Stakeholder Interaction: Connect with patients, caregivers, and stakeholders positively, address them by preferred names, and focus on their needs. Educate and offer choices to patients and caregivers, promoting satisfaction.

  • Goal Execution: Assist in developing and executing ETC goals, supporting the organizational mission and strategic plan. Participate in performance improvement activities and monitor key performance indicators.

  • Policy Implementation: Develop and implement policies and procedures for consistent service provision. Plan resource deployment effectively and efficiently.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Promote inter and intra-departmental collaboration, respond to negativity appropriately, and communicate professionally and positively with team members.

  • Service Excellence: Utilize the brand platform for consistent service deployment, motivate and coach staff in COH standards, and seek opportunities for organizational improvement.

  • Patient Safety: Demonstrate knowledge of patient safety goals, promote safety within ETC, and manage unexpected occurrences appropriately. Maintain regulatory agency compliance.

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • RN candidates must have current Georgia RN License from an accredited college

  • BSN required or enrolled in a BSN program within 6 months of hire and completed within 3 years of date of hire

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role preferred. Previous Management experience preferred

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $37.81 - $62.28 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
