The Graduate School aims to provide a rich intellectual, academic and research environment for educating students to become leaders in the discovery, dissemination, and application of knowledge. To help facilitate this, our graduate faculty members are selected based on experience in research, scholarship and education. They are drawn from the faculties of Augusta University's College of Allied Health Sciences, College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Hull College of Business, Dental College of Georgia, College of Education, College of Science and Mathematics, College of Nursing, School of Computer & Cyber Sciences and the Medical College of Georgia. Class sizes are small, and the faculty excels in cultivating and modeling supportive, collegial and professional relationships with students. Job Summary
The Graduate Enrollment Advisor plays a critical role in supporting prospective and enrolled graduate students throughout their academic journey. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, providing them with the information and support they need to make informed decisions about their education. You will play a key role in helping students achieve their academic and career goals. Responsibilities include recruiting and guiding prospective students through the application process alongside the Recruitment Coordinator, providing academic advising to ensure students meet program requirements, and offering support and resources to enrolled students to improve the student experience and increase retention rates. This position monitors student progress and assists in addressing any academic or personal challenges that students may face. They maintain some student records, track enrollment data, and prepare reports, while fostering positive relationships with students to create a supportive and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT: Serve as the enrollment advisor for all Graduate School programs - both on ground and online. Deliver exceptional customer service to prospective students, applicants, and newly enrolled students across all TGS programs. Respond to inquiries from prospective students via phone, email, and in-person meetings and provide detailed information about the graduate programs, admission requirements, and application processes.
Develop and implement strategic enrollment management plans to meet the Graduate Schools and institution's recruitment and retention goals. Provide ongoing support throughout the academic journey for all TGS students - addressing academic or personal challenges, connecting students with resources, monitoring academic progress, and creating strategies to improve the student experience and increase retention rates. Maintain student records as appropriate, track enrollment data, and prepare semesterly and annual reports for institutional use, as needed.
Provide comprehensive guidance to prospective TGS students on program suitability, admissions criteria, financial aid procedures, transfer protocols, licensure requirements, and military-related matters. Advise current and prospective students on program requirements, course selection and academic planning. Review applications for completeness and accuracy if needed and provide feedback to applicants. Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure timely processing of applications. Provide personalized support to help students overcome any barriers to enrollment. Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application statuses in the CRM system
Become familiar with all TGS programs' curriculum, structure, program value, and industry trends to effectively communicate the benefits of AU programs to prospective students and provide adequate support to enrolled students. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
RECRUITMENT AND OUTREACH: Participate alongside the GS Recruitment Coordinator in recruitment events and information sessions to attract competitive students. Develop and maintain relationships with feeder schools, community organizations, and other key stakeholders. Provide detailed information about programs, admission requirements, and the application process. Conduct effective and proactive outreach campaigns to engage prospective students through various channels - social media, emails, phone calls, etc. Utilize effective strategies to articulate the value proposition of TGS programs and convert inquiries into applications and applicants into enrolled students.
OPERATIONS: Collaborate with other AU departments, including Graduate Admissions Office, AU Online, Financial Aid, the Business Office, IPSO, and the Registrar's office to create a top-tier experience for prospective and enrolled students. Adapt seamlessly to any new university systems implemented to continually enhance the student experience.
OTHER DUTIES: Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the Graduate School and Augusta University.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university with five (5) years relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited college or university
Experience working with graduate students in a higher education environment
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
KNOWLEDGE
Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant software

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days; Monday - Friday *Work outside regular business hours may be required.
Pay Band: B8
Salary: Minimum $45,400 - Midpoint $56,700
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
