The Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope is looking for a talented Postdoctoral Fellow.
Postdoctoral position is available immediately in the stimulating environment of the Department of Immuno-Oncology, Beckman Research Institute at the City of Hope, to explore immune checkpoint signaling in the tumor microenvironment and to develop novel anticancer therapies. The project entails in vitro and in vivo studies to identify molecular and cellular mechanism(s) underlying cancer-promoting immunosuppression in mouse and human solid tumor models. The preferred candidate will also continue ongoing correlative studies characterizing immune markers of response in clinical samples. Individuals with strong skills in tumor immunology and animal studies within 1-2 years from receiving their Ph.D. are invited to apply.

Your qualifications should include:
- A Ph.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, or a related discipline is required.
Preferred qualifications:
- Ph.D. in relevant field (received within past 1-2 years).
- Strong background in molecular biology and/or tumor immunology.
- Demonstrated laboratory research skills.
- Experience in immunophenotyping of human and mouse immune cells using flow cytometry and functional assays.
- Experience with animal studies or with cancer immunotherapy related studies is a plus.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $34.00 - $37.55 / hour
