Job Description
We seek faculty candidates with a master’s degree or higher in dietetics, nutrition science, or other nutrition-related discipline. Candidates should also hold the RDN credential for at least 3 years by the time the position commences. Candidates should have good interpersonal communication skills, have the ability to work cooperatively and congenially, and be skilled in teaching dietetics and nutrition courses to students with a range of aptitude. Familiarity with Canvas or another Learning Management System is desirable.
Rank will be at the Assistant or Associate Clinical Lecturer level. For candidates who hold a doctorate in a related area, appointment can be considered at the Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor rank.

Minimum Experience:
1. Master’s Degree or doctorate in Nutrition Science, Dietetics or other Nutrition-related discipline from an accredited institution.
2. At least eight months (one academic year) of successful on-campus or online teaching experience at the university level among students with a range of aptitudes.
3. Have held RDN credential for three years by the date of hire

Preferred Experience:
- More than eight months (one academic year) of successful campus or online university teaching experience
- Experience with Canvas or other Learning Management System.
- More than one year of clinical nutrition-related experience.
- Doctorate in Nutrition, Nutrition Science, Dietetics or other Nutrition-related discipline.
