Job Description
Summary
The Coordinator, Program Management supports the Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center's professional education and career development opportunities within the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
Job Duties
- Coordinates all research and Advanced Practice Provider observers for the Cancer and Hematology Center (TXCH) providing support to up to over 50 research faculty, in addition to coordinating a weekly seminar series with invited speakers, and 6-8 conferences/annually.
- Conference planning and coordination, Coordination of local visits for invited speakers for weekly seminar series and conferences to cultivate relationships amongst TXCH faculty and invited speakers.
- Prepares and processes observer requests.
- Submits expenses for reimbursement.
- Manages domestic and international travel in the travel management system (Concur).
- Composes formal and informal correspondence for donors, national and international observers.
- Facilitates engagement with technology and trouble shoot throughout each seminar and conference.
- Assists with the preparation of philanthropic stewardship reports.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience in an academic setting preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
