Job Description
The School of Art at Ball State University invites applications for part-time instructors to teach a variety of art courses, including 2D Foundations, 3D Foundations, 4D Foundations, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, ceramics, glass, metals + jewelry, sculpture, and video and new media. Successful candidates may be hired to teach between one and three sections, and we offer both online and in-person modalities. Course development support and pedagogical mentoring will be offered.

The School of Art at Ball State University invites applications for part-time instructors to teach a variety of art courses, including 2D Foundations, 3D Foundations, 4D Foundations, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, ceramics, glass, metals + jewelry, sculpture, and video and new media. Successful candidates may be hired to teach between one and three sections, and we offer both online and in-person modalities. Course development support and pedagogical mentoring will be offered.
Minimum Experience:
Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Studio Art, Design, or related discipline by time of appointment.
One semester of teaching experience at the college level.
Preferred Experience:
Engagement with contemporary art practices as an educator, artist, designer, and/or illustrator.
One year of teaching experience at the college level.
