The successful candidate:

The Principal, Citrix Engineering is responsible for acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all servicessolutions managed by the Citrix Services Team at City of hope including but not limited to Citrix Analytics, Citrix Provisioning Services, Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenServer, Citrix Virtual Delivery Agent, Citrix Profile Management, Microsoft FSLogix, and Microsoft Group Policy (with relation to Citrix configurations). This individual will be responsible for architecting future solutions supported by the Citrix Services Team and mentoring members of the Citrix Services Team.

Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience supporting server and virtualized infrastructure in an Enterprise environment with at least half in a healthcare environment
  • Pref. Certification/Licensure:
  • Microsoft MCP/MCSA/MCSE; VMware VCAP/VCIX/VCDX, Citrix CCP-V/CCE-V
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Cloud Computing, Technical Support, Product Management, Requirements Analysis, Security, Infrastructure, Server Administration
  • Skills/Abilities:
  • Seasoned interpersonal skills, effective communicator, and problem solver
  • Driven to improve customer satisfaction, both internally and externally
  • Ability to always maintain professionalism under high pressure situations
  • Must be able to meet team goals and enjoy working collaboratively as a team
  • Software:
  • Citrix XenApp, Citrix Hypervisor, Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix XenServer, Citrix NetScaler

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $57.77 - $101.27 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
