Position Summary:

City of Hope is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our Case Management team, specializing in cancer treatment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating patient care along the continuum, advocating for patients, and ensuring their satisfaction while focusing on cancer care. Thisopportunityis for per diem, 8-hour day shifts (8:00am start time).There is a minimum of 1 shift per week availability required for per diem. The required work days will be only Saturdays/Sundays.The per diem flat rate for this position is $83.015/hr and there is an additional weekend differential of $14.24/hr.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Utilize the Case Management process to effectively communicate and coordinate patient care, ensuring a seamless experience for patients receiving cancer treatment.
  • Serve as a patient advocate, actively promoting customer satisfaction by addressing patient concerns and facilitating their needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess and plan patient care, ensuring timely access to necessary resources and services.
  • Monitor patient progress and identify opportunities for care improvement, working to enhance the overall quality of care delivery.
  • Utilize your BSN degree and clinical expertise to contribute to the overall success of the Case Management department.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current CA RN License
  • Minimum of three years current clinical experience, preferred background in oncology nursing
  • BLS Certification, through the American Heart Association
  • Experience in case management and familiarity with cancer treatment protocols.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient advocacy and satisfaction.
