Summary

The Department of Medicine - Section of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is seeking an Associate Professor to cover the Inpatient Consult service and provide Outpatient general pulmonary and sleep medicine services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education required: M.D.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine
  • Commitment to clinical excellence and a track record of excellent clinical performance.
  • Scholarly enthusiasm.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of internal and external patient needs, addresses complaints, makes, and meets realistic commitments, and effectively communicates needs.
  • Maintains all channels of communication via efficient verbal and written methods.
  • Provides concise, complete, and professional information to others.

  • Willingness to assist others; possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills; escalates issues to management; supports team members; meets deadlines; acts upon directives; and takes initiative to resolve issues to produce a quality outcome.
