Summary
The Department of Pediatrics, Pulmonology Section is seeking a qualified candidate to provide quality care at Texas Children's Hospital, Austin Campus (Austin, TX).
Austin presents a clear and compelling opportunity to extend Texas Children's mission to a large and growing population of children and women where there is currently a need for programmatically integrated healthcare. Our Austin Urgent Care opened in March 2018, fourteen pediatric practices currently operate in the Austin area, and our first Specialty Care Center opened in October 2019. The Specialty Care Center is located at 8611 North Mopac Expressway, approximately 10 miles south of the North Austin Campus. The North Austin Campus will provide a full scope of care for both pediatric and women's services. Texas Children's presence in Austin helps deliver regional coordination of care and is synergistic to the core services offered at our Texas Medical Center campus in Houston.
Professional Responsibilities include:
- Providing the highest standard of comprehensive clinical care to pediatric patients with pulmonary and sleep related problems.
- Fostering public awareness of diseases and disorders of the pulmonary/respiratory system and their causes and sleep medicine
- Promoting health and prevention of diseases of the pulmonary/respiratory system and sleep medicine.
- Providing clinical care to pulmonary and sleep medicine patients
Educational Requirements
- Minimum Education: M.D.

Minimum Job Experience:
- Minimum of three years of experience in Pediatric Pulmonology Minimum of one year of experience Sleep Medicine
Minimum Certification/Licenses/Registration:
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonology
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Sleep Medicine
