Job Description

Summary

We are seeking an intern to assist in the development of video and audio materials and other communications to build a series of creative instructional video shorts

Job Purpose

Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience.

Job Duties

  • Assists faculty with production of educational videos including pre-recording materials.
  • Edits video and audio components into finished products.
  • Establishes practices and instructional materials to ensure consistency in branding and high quality videos for the resource website.
  • Creates still and animated motion graphics including intros, outros, lower thirds, etc. to enhance video packages.
  • Reviews video scripts and other communications, which may include press releases, internal news stories and briefs, announcement emails, and blog posts •
  • Collaborates with BCM Communications and Studio One faculty/staff to ensure all branding and other related policies are met with produced videos (e.g., closed captions, copyright of images used, etc).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.
