A Postdoctoral Fellow is available in the lab of Dr. Rupangi Vasavada’s lab in the Department of Translational Research and Cellular Therapeutics in the Arthur Riggs-Diabetes and Metabolism Research Institute at City of Hope, CA. Research in the lab is highly translational focused on understanding the pathophysiology of diabetes and finding novel therapeutics through the identification of key biological pathways that enhance beta cell health, assessing the role of extracellular vesicles in disease pathology, and tapping their potential as early biomarkers. The lab employs a combination of cellular and molecular techniques, mouse models and patient samples for this research. Dr. Vasavada has NIH grants, JDRF clinical trial grant, philanthropy, and internal awards to support the research.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $34.00 - $37.55 / hour
