Position Summary

The Nurse Manager is responsible for clinical care, patient safety, quality of care and patient experience of designated clinic(s) in collaboration with Clinical Network Site Practice leadership.

Be a change agent and encourage staff to welcome change. Monitor and control resources (human and material), provide excellent customer service. Encourage higher learning/ professional development in staff. Assures professional and regulatory standards are met and maintained.

You will play a pivotal role in providing crucial support for our telehealth virtual program, known as Hope Virtual. You will lead a small team of Medical Assistants, coordinate with physicians, implement care protocols, and monitor patient outcomes. You will also be responsible for staff training, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing telehealth processes to enhance patient experience. Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills are essential for success in this role.

This position will be onsite, operating out of the administrative office building located at 4900 Rivergrade Road, Irwindale, CA, 91706. This position will also closely mirror the hours of our clinical network sites, Monday-Friday, roughly 8:00am-5:00pm, closed weekends and major holidays, and this is an exempt role.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Collaborate on and oversee the implementation of departmental programs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Establish and maintain patient care standards to ensure timely, safe, and effective care.
  • Ensure satisfaction among patients, physicians, and other customers.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with other departments.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and measure staff performance.
  • Report on quality metrics and develop corrective actions.
  • Recruit and maintain competent staff to meet care standards.
  • Oversee staffing plans, orientation, and continuing education.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of the department's budget.
  • Advance goals that support the organization's strategic plan.
  • Address clinical issues and provide solutions in real-time.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or BSN not required if holds MSN)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an area of expertise relevant to the department with demonstrated progressive leadership growth.
  • California RN license
  • American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • National Nursing Certification (or must be acquired within 12 months of hire or transfer)

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $59.27 - $98.98 / hour
