Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Thinking Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in applying design thinking principles to develop innovative solutions that ensure project success. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in design thinking, business model generation, and experimentation, providing strategic insight to our innovation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Thinking Facilitation:

-Lead and facilitate design thinking workshops with cross-functional teams.

-Guide teams through the design thinking process to uncover pain points, identify opportunities, and foster ideation.

Idea Concept Design:

-Lead workshops focused on value proposition development and business model generation.

-Refine initial ideas into comprehensive business models.

-Employ various techniques to visualize and effectively communicate ideas.

Strategy and Insight:

-Collaborate with research experts to uncover pain points and extract strategic insights.

-Partner with solution leads and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and user needs.

Team Collaboration:

- Lead cross-functional teams in the application of design thinking methodologies, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

- Take ownership of design thinking projects, driving their successful execution and delivering high-impact results

Continuous Improvement:

-Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and best practices.

-Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and integrate them into future initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Business, or a related field.

Extensive experience (5 year+) in design thinking, innovation, and business modeling.

A strong portfolio demonstrating successful design thinking projects and innovative solutions.

Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership abilities.

Proficiency in design and modeling tools and software.

Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with HCPs and patients.

Certification in design thinking or related methodologies.
