Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Online Enrollment will report to the Director of Online Enrollment & will serve as a strong team player to oversee AU Oline's daily admissions processing workflows & directly manage an admissions team of admissions counselors. They should be comfortable leading, training, & coaching an admissions team ensuring the department meets online enrollment targets. With experience in online enrollment management practices, policies, & technologies. As this role will have managerial responsibilities, experience leading others, & managing a team to outstanding outcomes, is an important set of skills & experiences that must be demonstrated.

The Assistant Director of Online Enrollment will motivate & create a dynamic climate where their team will be poised to help the organization achieve its 16,000 enrollments by 2030 objective. They will build a dynamic team environment & work collaboratively with others to achieve this common goal. By providing direction & vision while streamlining process in the areas of online enrollment & recruitment, the Assistant Director will meet aggressive enrollment targets. Responsibilities

The duties include, but are not limited to:

LEADERSHIP & STRATEGY: Holds self & others accountable to meet commitments. Collaborate to develop ideas to help increase performance in new student admissions & implementing those initiatives. Implement new processes & modify existing processes in collaboration with leadership to improve efficiency & overall effectiveness. Supervises, trains. assigns tasks, & provides direct support for admissions representatives, acting as a motivational leader. Creates a dynamic team environment that encourages accountability & customer service to ensure we consistently deliver the best student experience.

OPERATIONS: Possess a deep understanding & competency of technology tools used in enrollment management (CRM. Contact Center Solution, & Marketing Automation), to enable the team to fully leverage & utilize the capabilities to drive innovation & efficiency. Maintain awareness of university processes related to enrollment, enrollment caps, deadlines, financial aid, & other areas as needed. Be a subject matter expert for each degree program by fully understanding curriculum, structure, notable faculty & program value. Work collaboratively with other teams & departments across Augusta University ensuring a positive prospective student experience is the priority.

REPORTING, ANALYSIS, & EVALUATION: Gather data & build monthly reports to utilize in coaching sessions with admissions representatives. Utilize call monitor form data gathered throughout the month to provide tangible in-depth feedback to admission representatives. Continually evaluating call flows to further optimize quality & efficiency in engagement with prospective students. Track, analyze, & report on team metrics, & meet key performance indicators of service levels, customer satisfaction, online enrollment conversion rates, & other measures of success. Provide feedback to leadership on trends found throughout the admissions process regarding performance gaps that could provide opportunity for growth in enrollment & ultimately improvement in prospective student satisfaction.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Deep understanding of what it takes to qualify new inquiries & applications for various degree programs through meaningful service-driven conversations & guide prospects from new inquiry to admitted student phase of the student lifecycle. Comprehensively assess prospective student circumstances, assist in quickly addressing critical areas & creating strategies to address to offer solutions. Deep knowledge in customizing the student conversation approach, content, & structure to align with what is in the best interest of the student & contributes to the overall business need from first point inquiry to registration. Sets example for team to follow & has the ability to handle the most challenging situations with the capability to provide the best outcome or resolution.

OTHER DUTIES: Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher degree (business or sales degrees preferred) from an accredited college or university with 3 plus years of progressively responsible management experience in a sales environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with leveraging a Sales CRM. Experience with coaching & training sales teams. Experience analyzing & interpreting data to drive departmental efficiencies. Knowledge of customer service & inbound/outbound contact center handling procedures.

Previous experience in higher education recruitment & enrollment is preferred

    Shift/Salary/Benefits

    Shift: Days/M-F (Work outside of normal business hours may be required)

    Pay Grade: 20

    Salary: Minimum $55,869/annually - Midpoint $65,600/annually

    Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum midpoint) of the position.
