Job Description
Summary
The Assistant Coordinator will assist Dr. Chadi Calarge's research team by providing administrative support to the research lab. Day to day duties will include contacting research participants for appointment reminders, entering participant information into a database, and assembling documentation for appointments.
This position will provide administrative support to Dr. Chadi Calarge's research lab. The research lab has expanded tremendously and additional administrative support to the research lab is needed to ensure contact with participants is kept up with in a timely manner.
Job Duties
- Contacts research participants and families for appointment reminders by letter or phone confirming eligibility.
- Ensures patient documentation is completed and entered into database.
- Assembles documentation for appointments.
- Coordinates with research staff for participant scheduling.
- Contacts participants on a monthly basis for interim data collection.
- Attends weekly lab meetings.
- Orders supplies and equipment.
- Perform other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
