Job Description

Summary

This position is responsible for oversight of the Texas Incentives for Physicians and Professional Services (TIPPS) Program for Baylor College of Medicine and affiliate institutions. The TIPPS program is a directed payment program
sponsored by CMS and managed by the State of Texas to provide enhance quality of care for Medicaid STAR patients primarily but not exclusively women and children. Clinical Quality Measures and infrastructure components are
reported to the state and reimbursement provided by the Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCO) for which BCM is contracted.

Job Duties

  • Directs oversight of TIPPS program requirements for two approved HHS state contracts and three institutions.
  • Specific Position Duty for all 3 institutions:
  • Becomes proficient in program requirements and specifications.
  • Monitors adherence to program specifications.
  • Reviews and validates data from report developers.
  • Liaises with Texas Health and Human Services for all program related and measure specific inquiries.
  • Documents all decision-making specific to the program.
  • Manages deadlines and expectations.
  • Schedules and hold meetings for internal or affiliate partners.
  • Tracks incoming revenue monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc for specific MCO plans.
  • Liaises with Manager and Finance with financial updates to program receipts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics or related field.
  • Three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Epic Ambulatory.
  • Experience with clinical quality measures.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Exceptional skills with Excel.
  • Exceptional Project Management skills.
