Responsibilities
The Miller lab in the Aging and Metabolism Research Program at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) is looking to hire a Postdoctoral Fellow. We are looking with someone with some combination of interest in aging, muscle, mitochondria, metformin, metabolism, stable isotopes and proteomics. In addition to joining my lab, the post-doc will be in a highly collaborative environment that spans the Aging and Metabolism Research Program at OMRF and The Oklahoma Center for Geroscience at OUHSC. Aging research (Geroscience) is the thematic priority of these two programs and the associated Oklahoma Nathan Shock Center of Excellence in the Basic Biology of Aging. The post-doc would also be eligible for the Geroscience Training Program (T32) and a wealth of other training opportunities.


Qualifications
Ph.D. in a biological science, chemistry, physics or other relevant area, M.D., or equivalent. OMRF has mandated the COVID-19 vaccine for all employees, excluding those with an approved medical or religious accommodation, as a condition of employment.
