Finance Business Partner Director who will collaborate closely with senior leaders and their teams to provide valuable insights and financial guidance to support financial planning and decision-making. This includes acting as a trusted advisor to the assigned System functions (IT, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Revenue Cycle, Marketing, etc.) to develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
Business Partnering: Key Finance Business Partner to collaborate with System Function leaders and their teams to understand their objectives and outcomes. Serve as a trusted advisor by providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making. Assist in the development of business cases and system initiatives.
Financial Planning: Support delivery of monthly/quarterly forecasting and the annual budgeting process by working closely with senior management and their teams; telling the story behind the numbers so we understand the outcomes of different scenarios. Identify risks and opportunities and help budget owners mitigate risks and exploit opportunities.
Management Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular financial reports and dashboards to stakeholders in alignment with the system finance standard reports and dashboards. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports for the System Functions. Understand and explain any variances.
Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as needed. Proactively support key stakeholders as their finance trusted advisor.
Building Relationships: Build great relationships outside of Finance to strengthen the link between Finance and the rest of the System Functions and to help develop a strong reputation for the Finance team.
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Responsible for assuring that financial resources are appropriately deployed by optimizing the operational and financial performance of the System Functions across business units.
- Assess the operations and financial performance of ongoing services and new initiatives.
- Works closely with SVPs and vice presidents of the System Functional leadership, peers and staff proposing and/or planning for the implementation of new system initiatives, applying the latest financial analytic tools to:
- assess the viability and upside potential for new initiatives, and
- evaluates risk factors that could adversely impact new programs.
- Prepares reports and proposals for presentation to EVPs, SVPs and vice presidents of system functions leadership to assist in the evaluation of new programs and/or recommendations for changes of substance to ongoing operations of existing services and programs. Advises senior leadership as to the financial viability of new and existing programs.
- Prepares annual operating budget, monthly forecast, capital investments and System-wide business cases and is accountable for financial performance and success.
Your qualifications should include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field with a current CA CPA license

- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in healthcare financial and operational leadership roles. Experience in broad based delivery system preferred.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $76.77 - $128.21 / hour
