Provides complex clerical and administrative support to a departmental office or program.Job Description:
Description of Duties and Tasks
Facilitate the check out of available technology to faculty and staff.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with classroom audio/visual technology.
May review and provide recommendations to update departmental webpages and/or knowledge bases.
Responds to and/or directs inquiries in person or on the telephone; accesses and works with other staff to assist in resolving issues from ACC faculty and staff.
Corresponds with other ACC teams and departments including IT Services, Student Technology Services, etc. on behalf of ACC faculty and staff.
May be assigned responsibility for special projects such as scheduling rooms, compiling information packets, creating spreadsheets, charts, and graphs, and other projects.
Knowledge
Office procedures and practices.
Customer service techniques.
Use of Zoom, Blackboard, and other academic technologies is a plus.
Skills
Maintaining an established work schedule.
Establishing and maintaining effective internal and external relationships.
Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
Effectively using interpersonal and communication skills.
Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
Entering data, maintaining files, and performing other clerical duties.
Effective customer-orientation when working with a diverse population.
Technology Skills
Use a variety of spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software.
Ability to operate computers and tablet devices.
Ability to operate projectors, microphones, and other AV technologies is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Work is routinely performed in a standard office or similar environment.
Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds.

Work safely and follow safety rules. Report unsafe working conditions and behavior. Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices
