Job Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes, performs and monitors daily project protocols.
- Collects, prepares and maintains required research documentation, including informed consent records, case records, clinical notes and medical reports.
- Reports and assists with the management of protocol deviations, adverse events and other project-related issues.
- Responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the lab.
- Orders and purchases supplies as directed from the supervisors.
- Gathers information on new equipment necessary in the lab and recommends purchases.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's Degree in laboratory science field may substitute one year of the experience requirement.
- Bachelor's Degree may substitute two years of the experience requirement.
- Master's Degree may substitute three years of the experience requirement.

- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of four years of experience in a research or related laboratory environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
- Ability to distinguish color
- Manual dexterity to handle specimens and repair equipment
- Ability to lift and transport equipment or specimens weighing up to 20 pounds
- May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, bio-hazards, radioactive materials, etc.

- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
