X-Ray Technologist II – Diagnostic Radiology

Join City of Hope - Irvine as an X-Ray Technologist II, where you'll shine in the spotlight of healthcare excellence! As an X-Ray Technologist II, you'll operate X-ray equipment, ensuring quality exams. You will prepare procedure rooms, assist during exams, and provide documentation for tracking and billing. You will also perform various radiologic procedures, including General Radiography, while prioritizing patient safety. Serving as one of the patient's first point of contact, you will play a key role in meeting their imaging needs and actively participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities. As a successful candidate, you will:
- Perform a variety of radiologic procedures including General Radiography and crossed trained to another modality, either CT or MRI, within Diagnostic Imaging.
- Assist the radiologist, cardiologist, and/or clinician during radiologic procedures, including invasive and non-invasive studies.
- Prepare the patient, explains the procedure, and ensures patient’s cooperation during the examination.
Your qualifications should include:
- Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training in Radiologic Technology or equivalent. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.
- 2 years in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, preferred
- AMA approved school of Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
- CRT (Radiography and Fluoroscopy)
- ARRT
- CPR

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $46.27 - $69.41 / hour
