Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Assistant to the Vice President of Human Resources, this position provides administrative support to the division of Human Resources. The position assists with the division's fiscal operations and purchasing. The Office Associate helps with the preparation and distribution of division communications and presentations. The position also assists with maintaining IT and building concerns as needed.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide general administrative support for the division of Human Resources. Includes, but is not limited to: Answer phones; Monitor and respond to division email accounts; Maintain conference room calendars; Schedule meetings and coordinate events. Filing and copying.
Provide support to division purchasing: Maintain and order office supplies; Assist with the preparation of purchase orders. Initiate purchase requisitions.
Assist with building and IT needs: Maintain division printers/copiers; Initiate facilities management work orders as necessary; Initiate IT requests as necessary; Assist with equipment and inventory as necessary.
Assist with division communications & presentations: Gather and compile information; Draft communications in various formats (email, PowerPoint, spreadsheet, etc.)
Provide support for division fiscal operations: Maintain budget records; Retrieve budget reports as necessary; Process check and travel requests.
Other Duties: Act as back-up for Human Resources front desk. Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
with a minimum of one year of office support experience.

Shift: Days; Monday - Friday
Pay Grade: 7
Salary: $15.00 - $17.30
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position

Conditions of Employment
