Job Description
In support of the IPEF Supply chain initiative, Pfizer’s Global Supply (PGS) offers summer STEM internships that cross over all facets of the business. The Global Supply Chainorganization team is responsible for managing the supply and demand of a robust portfolio and it is supported by various departments and teamsincluding operations, engineering, quality, and logistics. Our IPEF summer interns will work in conjunction with these areas on challenging assignments andprojects that will stimulate creative problem-solving and collaborative leadership, while contributing to the overall goal of bringing quality life-savingmedicines to patients around the world. Individuals selected for these roles will join our teams in the following locations: Memphis, TN, PleasantPrairie, WI, Peapack, NJ, Collegeville, PA, Lake Forest, IL. Memphis, TN, Andover, MA and New York, NY.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical Engineering), Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology) or Supply Chain/ Business Administration
- Strong academic performance
- Strong team skills with demonstrated leadership ability
- Passion for learning and pursuing a career in the health care industry
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation and initiative
- Ability to work in a high-paced team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Supply chain, engineering background
- Previous work, internship or co-op experience preferred
